Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Vertex Dickinson Concrete handles the information you share when you visit our website, call us, or ask for an estimate. We're a concrete contractor in Dickinson, ND, and this site exists so homeowners and businesses can learn about our work and get in touch.
It applies to every page of our site, from the home page to our service and city pages. If you want to know more about who we are before reaching out, our about page has that.
Information you give us
When you fill out our estimate form, call us at (701) 495-9954, or email us, you usually share your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property, and a description of the job. You might also send photos of a driveway, patio or slab so we can see what we're looking at before we come out.
Our contact form is run by an outside form service, so what you type into it is collected and stored by that service and passed to us. We only ask for what we need to answer you and quote the work.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours can collect basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, the device you're using, the pages you looked at, how long you stayed, and the site that sent you here. This comes from analytics tools and cookies, which are small files your browser stores so a site can count visits and remember settings.
We use this information in summary form to see which pages people find useful and what isn't working. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work for reading pages and contacting us.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to your request, set up an on-site estimate, schedule and do the work, send invoices, and follow up on a job we've done for you. We may also use it to keep records of past projects at your property, which helps if you call us back about the same slab later.
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with people who help us run the business, such as the form service, our website and email providers, and anyone handling billing, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and job records for as long as we need them to answer you, finish the work, stand behind it, and meet tax and business record-keeping requirements. When we no longer need information for those reasons, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
Analytics data is kept in summary form by the tools that collect it, under their own retention settings.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we have about you, correct anything that's wrong, or delete it when we don't need to keep it for a job or a legal reason. You can also ask us to stop contacting you about anything other than work you've booked.
Depending on the state you live in, you may have more rights under that state's privacy laws, and we'll honor those requests too. We may need to confirm who you are before we make a change, so we don't hand your details to the wrong person.
Children's privacy
Our site is meant for adults planning concrete work on their property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. The newest version will always be on this page, and it takes effect when it's posted.
How to raise a privacy concern
If you have a question about your information, want to make a request, or think something was handled wrong, call us at (701) 495-9954 or reach us through our contact page. Tell us what you need and we'll get back to you and work it out with you directly.
